Truck accident kills 2, injures 1
Victims of truck accidents and their families are protected by the legal system. Two Florida residents were recently killed in semi-truck crash in another state. The fatal truck accident resulted in the deaths of two Florida residents and injured four others. The accident occurred when a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle were slowing in a construction zone. Another semi-truck behind the passenger vehicle failed to slow or come to a stop and crashed into the passenger vehicle from behind it. When the semi-truck struck the passenger vehicle from behind, it also caused it to strike the other semi-truck in front of it.
A 24-year old back seat passenger in the passenger vehicle, from a nearby Florida community close to the West Palm Beach area, was killed in the accident. A second victim, a 26-year old Florida resident and front seat passenger in the passenger vehicle, was also killed in the truck accident. The 26-year old victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and the 24-year old victim was transported to a local hospital where he was also pronounced dead. The 38-year old driver of the passenger vehicle, also from Florida, was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. Her injuries were listed as serious.
The 48-year old driver of the semi-truck that did not cause the accident was also treated for injuries. The 68-year old driver of the semi-truck that struck the passenger vehicle from behind was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. When a truck driver has been cited or criminally charged after causing an accident, the citation may be used as evidence of negligence and the truck driver may be required to compensate victims and their families for the damages they have suffered.
Victims may be able to receive compensation for the physical, financial and emotional damages suffered in a truck accident and surviving family members of victims killed in a truck accident may be able to recover wrongful death damages. These are important protections for victims and families of unexpected and catastrophic truck accidents to be familiar with and, because there may be differences in other states, it is important to be familiar with the legal options in their state and how they may be able to bring a claim for damages.

Much to my surprise not only did they win my lawsuit but I ended up getting 3 times the original amount I was expecting to get! I could not have been more pleased with the staff and the outcome.
If it wasn’t for your help, I know I wouldn’t have been able to win my case. I know that it was far away for you to come to Miami but your professionalism was outstanding. I will always recommend you.
