Florida accident leads to 1 death, 1 injury

A man has sadly lost his life in a tragic motor vehicle collision in the Sunshine State. Meanwhile, another man suffered injuries in the single-car accident. Sometimes, these types of accidents in Florida occur due to the carelessness of a driver, which is grounds for litigation.

The recent accident took place at around 1 a.m. Police said the two men’s motor vehicle suddenly left the roadway. The car then allegedly ended up traveling toward the road’s east shoulder.

At that point, the car reportedly overturned and then hit a tree. One of the men passed away at the crash scene. Meanwhile, the other man was pronounced  deceased at a medical center. Authorities continued to investigate the cause of the motor vehicle crash.

If the police determine that the injured man caused the accident due to negligent driving, the surviving loved ones of the man who died in the crash may decide to file a wrongful death claim against the injured man, seeking damages. Likewise, if the man who died in the crash was the one behind the wheel, the injured man may choose to file a personal injury claim against his estate or against any other person with an ownership interest in the car he was driving.
