During his professional career, Nicholas Latour has personally served the people of South Florida.

A first generation American with Cuban roots, Mr. Latour first served the children of South Florida as a biology teacher where he assisted children with complex backgrounds in improving their lives through education.

Eventually, Mr. Latour’s drive to better serve the people of Florida led him to become an attorney. He began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney where he litigated countless trials to bring justice to victims of crimes. Mr. Latour then started a family and transitioned from criminal law to workers’ compensation law. He spent the next decade working for some of the largest and most powerful employers and insurance carriers in the state of Florida. During this time Mr. Latour learned firsthand the extreme tactics that employers, their attorneys, and the insurance companies take to save money on a workers’ compensation claims. While working as defense counsel supported Mr. Latour’s family after years of such tactics, he became frustrated and felt compelled to use his knowledge to help injured workers get proper benefits and legal representation.
