What are the common types of motor vehicle accidents?

On Behalf of Rosenthal, Levy, Simon & Sosa | Apr 30, 2021 | Car Accidents

Driving is the safest it’s ever been thanks to improving infrastructure, education and safer technology in cars. However, driving is still one of the leading causes of death in young people in the country, and a lot still needs to be improved.

For this reason, it is important that action is taken to hold liable parties responsible for their part in the causation of a collision. Doing so can prevent further accidents and enable you to gain back financial damages. The following is an overview of some of the most common types of motor vehicle accidents.

Head-on collision

Head-on collisions are usually very serious because the two objects colliding at speed can lead to a huge impact force. This often occurs if a driver is drunk or distracted and drifts into oncoming traffic.

Vehicle rollover

A vehicle rollover can be fatal, especially if the driver is not wearing a seat belt. It often occurs when a driver makes a sudden decision to swerve to avoid a potential collision.

Multiple vehicle collision

Multiple vehicle collisions often occur during heavy traffic. One collision can lead to a pile-up involving dozens of cars.

T-bone car accident

A t-bone accident often occurs at an intersection when one driver proceeds without looking properly to check for oncoming traffic.

Sideswipe collision

Not allowing enough room for passing a car can lead to a sideswipe collision. If this happens at speed, it can be serious.

Side-impact collision

Side impact closings can be dangerous for passengers in the back of a car, especially for children. They can occur at intersections or when a car makes a dangerous pass.

Single car accident

Single car accidents often occur in adverse weather conditions or when a driver is speeding or drunk.

If you have recently been involved in a car accident, you should make sure that you take swift action to gain back the damages you deserve by filing a personal injury claim.

I have recommended Jonathan Levy and his law firm to my friends and one of them became his client. I am truly grateful for everything Jonathan Levy and his team have done on my behalf. He is truly a wonderful attorney.

Much to my surprise not only did they win my lawsuit but I ended up getting 3 times the original amount I was expecting to get! I could not have been more pleased with the staff and the outcome.

If it wasn’t for your help, I know I wouldn’t have been able to win my case. I know that it was far away for you to come to Miami but your professionalism was outstanding. I will always recommend you.
Maria W.

You might say you were even just doing your job, however, I think it’s essential that you realize how fortunate I am to have such a trusted esteemed attorney in my corner, blessed really.
