Florida collision prompts the need for medical airflight
Florida roadways are often busy during morning hours. From people commuting to and from work to students and faculty traveling to school, traffic often gets backed up to a standstill. The more vehicles on the road at any given moment, the greater the chance that a car accident might occur. It was approximately 9 a.m. on a recent Wednesday when State Road 405 became the scene of a collision. Rescue workers arrived at the site of a head-on crash. The impact caused two people to suffer injuries. They were transport by helicopter to the nearest medical facility equipped to address their injuries. As is often the case when car accidents occur on state roads, all available lanes were closed to traffic for several hours as cleanup crews worked to clear the road of debris. No details were given as to what or who may have caused the crash. Morning collisions like this one are often caused by distracted drivers or drivers making unsafe lane changes. When a head-on car accident results in injuries, recovering victims often seek restitution when the evidence suggests another party’s negligence or reckless behavior was a causal factor. When a claim is filed, a civil court judge or jury will decide whether the plaintiff in question has shown sufficient evidence that negligence occurred and that it directly caused physical, emotional or economic damages. Such cases are challenging, which is why most people in these circumstances ask experienced personal injury attorneys to act on their behalf in court.
