Donates Clothing, Furniture, Toys & Diapers - Supports
United for Families Foster Care and Related Services
October 26, 2006 Port St. Lucie, FL—Rosenthal
& Levy recently hosted a contribution drive on behalf
of United for Families. The drive yielded baby items
including furniture, toys, clothing and diapers. The
donations were collected from at Rosenthal & Levy’s
Port St. Lucie and West Palm Beach offices and donated
to United for Families for use by the community-based
agency’s foster care homes and providers. Commenting
on the donation drive Rosenthal & Levy Partner Steve
Simon commented, “This agency fills a crucial
and specific need on the Treasure Coast. My law firm
is committed to partnering with community based organizations
that make a difference. United for Families is undoubtedly
just such an agency.”

United for Families was created in 2002 and is the
community-based care lead agency to provide foster care
and related services to all children known to have been
neglected or abused in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee
and St. Lucie Counties. Several agencies worked together
facilitating the formation of United for Families. The
agencies were: Children’s Home Society of Florida,
Family Preservation Services of Florida, Exchange Club
Castle, and New Horizons Treasure Coast. The mission
of United for Families is to break the cycle of child
abuse through a diverse network of community partners
