Sends 60 Student Athletes to Cheeseborough Relays in Jacksonville, FL

Top Area Teams Compete at Signature Invitational

April 3, 2007, West Palm Beach, FL—Rosenthal & Levy, P.A. today announced, it has underwritten the Palm Beach Lakes Community High School track team’s trip to the Chandra Cheeseborough Invitational Track Meet. The event takes place April 7, 2007 at Jean Ribault High School in Jacksonville, Florida. During a recent afternoon practice, Palm Beach Lakes track coach and eight-time Palm Beach County Coach of the Year, Jerome Groover broke the news to his team that they’d secured the funds to attend the meet.

Coach Groover commented, “This donation is proof that our community supports our efforts to develop quality young people as well as successful athletes.” He continued, “This meet is so important. This is the place to test our athletes against the finest competition in the state. Without Rosenthal & Levy I don’t know if we would be going.” Rosenthal & Levy is covering the cost to charter transportation to Jacksonville. Gerry Rosenthal stated, “Next to advocating for my clients this is the most satisfying aspect of my work. The parents of Palm Beach Lakes’ students are my clients. Anything I can do to help is purely a blessing. I am thrilled that Coach Groover reached out to our law firm”

Palm Beach Lakes has amassed eight Florida State Team Championships, two Florida State Heptathlon Team Championships, 14 regional titles, 15 district titles, 16 conference titles and 13 county titles. Coach Jerome Groover has coached 25 High School All-Americans, 18 High School National Champions and is a member of the United States of America Track and Field (USATF) Hall of Fame, Golden South Hall of Fame, Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) Hall of Fame; 2004 Olympic Torch bearer; five-time Florida High School Coach of the Year and eight-time Palm Beach County Coach of the Year.
