Shareholder Steven C. Simon Becomes Name Partner

February 7, 2008, Port St. Lucie and West Palm Beach, FL—Gerald A. Rosenthal, managing partner of the law firm formerly known as Rosenthal & Levy, P.A., today announced the firm's name change to Rosenthal, Levy & Simon, P.A . “It is my pleasure to announce Steven C. Simon has become a name partner in our firm,” said Rosenthal. “Steve has made outstanding contributions to this firm over the last seven years. It speaks volumes that Steve moved his family to the Treasure Coast in order to manage and fuel our Port St. Lucie office's phenomenal growth.” He continued, “Steve's efforts have had a clear and lasting impact in our firm.”

Becoming a name partner is one of several recent milestones for Steve. In late 2007 he was named to the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum on the basis of a confidential million dollar settlement. Steve achieved the win on a behalf of a client in complex, multi-tiered litigation. Last year the firm relocated its Treasure Coast office to a larger space on Port St. Lucie West Boulevard . The expansion was necessary to accommodate the office's exponential growth.

Steve Simon manages the day-to-day operations of Rosenthal, Levy & Simon's civil trial, workers' compensation, employment law and Social Security Disability practices in the firm's Port St. Lucie office. A graduate of the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, Mr. Simon earned his Juris Doctor from the St. Thomas University School of Law. Steve Simon is extremely active as an executive board member of United for Families (UFF), an organization dedicated to advocating for the rights of foster children. Additionally, he contributes time and money to numerous other civic and charitable causes.
