Ethan F. Kominsky Appointed At-Large Director

July 28, 2006 West Palm Beach, FL—The Law Offices of Rosenthal & Levy announced, Attorney Ethan F. Kominsky has been appointed to serve as an AT-Large Director on the 2006-2007 Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (“AFTL”) Young Lawyers Section Board of Directors. Speaking of the appointment Kominsky stated, “It’s an honor to serve with this group and within the wider body of AFTL. Trial lawyers are the advocates for Florida residents who otherwise could not advocate for themselves. My goal is to play a strong role in fulfilling that mission.” The founding mission of the AFTL was to shift the focus of justice to protect Florida’s families. The leadership of AFTL and its professional staff continue that mission today.

The AFTL Young Lawyers Section is an extremely active group of lawyers under 36 or out of law school in the last 11 years. The Section hosts annually the Honorable E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition as well as sponsors the Al J. Cone Trial Advocacy Institute. In addition, the Section sponsors public service drives.

Ethan Kominsky concentrates his practice in personal injury and wrongful death, representing injured individuals and their families throughout the state of Florida. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In addition to serving as a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Team Leader and volunteer, Ethan is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers, MADD and the Illinois Bar Association; United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
