September 2, 2008, West Palm Beach, FL— Rosenthal, Levy & Simon, P.A., today announced Attorney Ethan F. Kominsky was recently elected as a member of the Craig S. Barnard, American Inn of Court LIV. The local Inn of Court is made up of more than 100 lawyers, judges and law students. The group’s purpose is fostering and promoting the ethical and professional practice of law. Members are also asked to help promote excellence in legal advocacy and to preserve and transmit ethical values from one generation of legal professionals to the next. Ethan Kominsky commented, “The Inn encompasses people at various points within their legal career. Just as I hope to impart some of what I’ve learned to the younger lawyers and law students, I gain from the experience of elder lawyers and judges.”

Kominsky has been has been named to the Farm Worker Coordinating Council (“FWCC”) of Palm Beach County Board of Directors. The mission of the FWCC is to promote self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of migrant and seasonal farm workers through education, advocacy, and access to services. The FWCC was chartered in Florida as a non-profit in 1978 and today serves over 30,000 migrant farm workers and their families across Palm Beach County . Commenting on his appointment Ethan states, “I have had the chance to witness up close and personal the abuses suffered by our seasonal and migrant farm worker community. My appointment to this Board will allow me to serve the mission of promoting their self-sufficiency and improving their quality of life.” He continued, “I am extremely passionate about my service to this underserved population.”
