Community-Based Agency Providing Foster Care on Treasure Coast
November 2, 2006 West Palm Beach, FL—Rosenthal & Levy recently announced two new positions within its core management group. Lori A. DeMayo was promoted to Chief Administrative Officer (“CAO”) after having served five years as the firm’s Co-Administrator. Former CAO, Ingrid M. Rosenthal has transitioned her duties to become the firm’s new Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”).
October 26, 2006 Port St. Lucie, FL—Rosenthal & Levy recently hosted a contribution drive on behalf of United for Families. The drive yielded baby items including furniture, toys, clothing and diapers. The donations were collected from at Rosenthal & Levy’s Port St. Lucie and West Palm Beach offices and donated to United for Families for use by the community-based agency’s foster care homes and providers. Commenting on the donation drive Rosenthal & Levy Partner Steve Simon commented, “This agency fills a crucial and specific need on the Treasure Coast. My law firm is committed to partnering with community based organizations that make a difference. United for Families is undoubtedly just such an agency.”
October 5, 2006 Port St. Lucie, FL—Rosenthal & Levy today announced, Attorney Yolando A. Hewling was recently named to The Major B. Harding American Inns of Court. The American Inns of Court are designed to improve the skills professionalism and ethics of judges and attorneys. An Inn is an amalgam of judges, lawyers, and in some cases, law professors and law students. Each Inn meets approximately once a month to hold programs and discussions on matters of ethics, skills and professionalism. Speaking of her appointment to the Inns Yolando Hewling commented, “This is a great opportunity for me to interact with many of the local legal profession’s most outstanding practitioners. The ability to exchange ideas and methodologies is extremely valuable.”
