Natalie Ashworth has
been with Rosenthal, Levy & Simon since 1992 and
is one of our most versatile staff members. In
the personal injury department, she worked as
an insurance claims clerk. In 1996, she joined
the workers' compensation department, first as
a secretary and later as a legal assistant, helping
to obtain initial background information from
new clients and maintaining contact with clients,
adjusters and medical providers. She continues
to provide assistance to the attorneys and legal
assistants in this department.
In 1999, Natalie
was appointed the legal assistant in charge of
Social Security Disability files. In this department,
she maintains contact with the clients throughout
the term of the case, and she assists the attorneys
in the procedures to obtain disability benefits
for clients. Natalie is a native of Canada and
resides with her husband, Bob, and their children
in the Royal Palm Beach area.
Tania Caussade joined
Rosenthal, Levy & Simon in 2000, recently becoming
one of the team of workers' compensation legal
assistants. She works side by side with the attorneys
to provide background information, to perform
procedures necessary to obtain medical and indemnity
benefits and to prepare and organize the file
for trial. Tania's compassion for her clients
as well as her diligence in maintaining close
contact with medical providers and insurance adjusters
insures that each file is up to date in the claim's
process.
Tania's family
is originally from Puerto Rico. She was raised
in New York and new reside in Palm Beach Gardens
with her husband George and two children.
A native of Ecuador,
Monica Cruz joined Rosenthal, Levy & Simon when the
firm opened its Port St. Lucie Office. Already,
she has proven a valuable and exceedingly proficient
member of the team. Monica has over a decade's
experience in workers' compensation law. She assists
the attorneys in preparation of correspondence
and bills, petitions and other office documents.
Serving as a liaison between the attorney, client
and medical professionals, Monica's is a pivotal
position that ensures clients receive optimum
service and that the legal process is a seamless
and compassionate one.
Monica Cruz is
bilingual in Spanish and English. She attended
Nassau Community College and Indian River Community
College. Additionally, Monica is a member of New
Life Christian Center where she is active in the
choir and Royal Rangers Ministry. She resides
in Port. St. Lucie with her husband and two sons.
Elayne Guillama is a
workers' compensation legal assistant who began
working for the firm in 1990. She is instrumental
in helping the firm's attorney's obtain past-due
monetary benefits and necessary medical care for
injured workers. Her job duties entail extensive
contact with the client, from gathering the initial
background information to maintaining ongoing
support to the claimant through trial and/or settlement.
Elayne has participated in several workers' compensation
hearings, assisting the lead attorney with complex
trial document production and organization. She
is an administrative assistant, supervising and
training staff.
Elayne is a native
of Havana, Cuba and is bilingual. She graduated
from Southridge High School in Miami. She has
attended numerous seminars on workers' compensation
topics, behavioral science, word-processing and
computer systems. She lives in Juno Beach with
her son.
As a workers' compensation
legal assistant, Jennifer Murray is responsible
for obtaining background information in initial
consultations with prospective clients, and for
providing ongoing assistance to the attorneys
with scheduling and with procedures to obtain
benefits to which the claimant may be entitled.
She maintains contact with the client, medical
providers and adjusters, keeping the client informed
at each stage of the claim process.
Jennifer joined
Rosenthal, Levy & Simon in August 2001, after having
served as a paralegal in another law firm. She
received her Associate of Science degree in Paralegal/legal
studies in July of 2000. She has also attended
Palm Beach Community College and participated
in a variety of seminars on litigation and workers'
compensation practice. Jennifer served on the
Advisory Board of New England Tech's Paralegal/Legal
Studies Program from 2002-2003. A native of Pendleton,
Indiana, she graduated Pendleton Heights High
School in 1993 and moved to Florida in 1998. She
now resides in Palm Beach Gardens with her family.
Kris Parker has been
a paralegal for over ten years. She began her
career early in the nineties at a well-known New
York City law firm. Kris is bilingual, fluent
in Spanish and English. Since relocating to Florida
nine years ago, she has worked predominately in
commercial litigation and personal injury law.
At Rosenthal, Levy & Simon, Kris supports a core
group of two personal injury attorneys. Her practical
experience allows her to assist in assignments
ranging from initial client intake, to assisting
clients with coordination of medical care. She
is also responsible for assisting attorneys with
preparation of demands, filing of lawsuits and
stewarding all the aspects of clients' cases leading
to trial.
Kris earned a degree
in English from the City University of New York
and Paralegal Certification from the Sobelsohn
business school. After moving to Florida in 1994
she obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Palm Beach
Atlantic University. In addition to having instructed
in paralegal studies at Cooper Career Institute,
Kris has been a fundraiser for American Cancer
Society, Parents without Partners, BoyScouts of
America and Adopt A Family. Kris is married and
lives in Port St. Lucie with her husband and five
children.
Amarys Reyes joined Rosenthal, Levy & Simon in February 2003 as a legal secretary
in the workers' compensation department. Due to
her work ethic and superlative attention to detail
and excellence, in less than a year Amarys was
promoted to paralegal. Today, she supports attorneys
with initial client consultations, drafting of
petitions and motions, summarizing medical records,
processing and securing lost wages and medical
benefits, in addition to preparing and organizing
files for trial.
Likewise, Amarys
provides ongoing support for claimants throughout
the legal process, through trial and/or settlement.
Amarys is bilingual fluent in English and Spanish.
She has participated in numerous education and
legal seminars pertaining to litigation and workers’
compensation law. Amarys is a graduate of American
Home Schooling, Broward Community College and
the Atlantic Technical Institute. She is a native
Floridian and resides in Palm Beach Gardens, with
husband Gustavo and their two boxers Myshka and
Doku.
