Attorney Suzanna Scarborough was invited to be a guest speaker by the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association about the Heart and Lung Bill, which provides special worker’s compensation benefits to first responders for heart disease, hypertension and tuberculosis. First responders face stressful and dangerous situations on a daily basis and the Heart and Lung Bill was enacted to address the consequences of the stress and danger they encounter. Ms. Scarborough knows first-hand about the daily work of police officers and other first responders. As former in-house legal counsel for the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association, she stood side-by-side with police officers. She continues to stand with them and their families by fighting for their rights under the Heart/Lung Bill or when they are injured in the line of duty, protecting and serving the public. Her experience and tireless dedication to first responders shows in all that she does for her clients. This is why Ms. Scarborough has been designated the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association’s “go to” worker’s compensation attorney.
